To all UNIMA Centres around the world!

I would like to inform you officially that the next UNIMA Council Meeting will be held in the beautiful city of Dordrecht (Holland), june 21th -22th -23th and 24th 2010. It's your duty to pass on this information to the Councillors who have been elected to represent your country. UNIMA is growing fast. We have important decisions to make. We need the participation of all the Councillors.

You will find enclosed the agenda for the 4 days reunion. Last ned

You will also find the new proposal of changes in our Statutes and Rules of Procedure that will be presented on the third day (which will be an Extraordinary Congress Day) by the UNIMA Executive Committee together with the Statutes Commission. Last ned

Since we are approaching the end of the year, I would like to send you my best wishes for a Happy Christmas and a Wonderful Year 2010. I want to thank you for celebrating in such a nice way, all through the year, the 80th anniversary of our great association. Year 2009 will be remembered as a very creative and successful year for UNIMA with, among other things, the launching of the Encyclopédie mondiale des Arts de la Marionnette and the entry of new UNIMA Centres, the last one being Indonesia in a few days.

Year 2010 is very promising!  Our 14 Commissions have interesting projects to propose and this coming Council Meeting will be an event not to be missed because it will be integrated in the 25th anniversary of the always innovative International puppet theatre Festival of Dordrecht and in the celebration of the 55th anniversary of UNIMA-Holland. It's a rendez-vous on the sailing boats dancing on the waters of dozen of channels!

If some of your Councillors need personal invitation to be able to get grants please let me know.
